Weekend watchdog

The first tickets for the NCAA tournament get punched this weekend. Get ready to see teams you haven't seen much on TV.
ESPN's
Championship Week kicks into high gear with three title tilts Saturday afternoon. The Big South gets underway at 4 p.m., then Atlantic Sun at 6 p.m. and Ohio Valley at 8 p.m.
Sunday night, ESPN2 will show the semifinals of the West Coast Conference. The championship of that league is Monday - along with three other leagues - and several other NCAA bids will be earned throughout the week.
CBS offers the championship of the Missouri Valley Conference Sunday at 2 p.m.
There's still plenty of regular season finales to watch.
CBS has a tripleheader Saturday, starting with West Virginia at Villanova at noon. Then it's Kansas-Missouri and UCLA at Arizona State. Sunday, Florida visits Kentucky at noon, then Michigan faces Michigan State at 4 p.m.
Raycom closes the ACC regular season with three games. Virginia hosts Maryland Saturday at 1:30 p.m., followed by Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech. Sunday at 2 p.m., it's Boston College vs. N.C. State.
ESPN2 features the MAC Friday, with Kent State-Akron at 8 p.m.
Saturday ESPN offers five games, starting with Texas A&M facing Oklahoma at noon. Syracuse visits Louisville in the final game at Freedom Hall at 2 p.m., followed by Texas-Baylor and Tennessee-Mississippi State. The GameDay crew will be at Duke vs. North Carolina, with tipoff at 9 p.m.
ESPN2 has a pair of regular season contests - Florida State-Miami at noon, then South Carolina at Vanderbilt. Sunday, ESPN shows Wisconsin-Illinois at noon.
MASN has the Big East game between St. John's and DePaul Friday at 8:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon features two more Big East games - Connecticut-South Florida at 2 p.m. and Rutgers visiting Pittsburgh at 4:30 p.m. The evening viewing is a pair of quarterfinal contests from the MAAC tournament, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The MAAC semifinals will be shown Sunday starting at 4 p.m., along with the second half of an American East semifinal.
Versus goes to the Mountain West Saturday at 4 p.m. with Wyoming meeting UNLV.
Comcast offers plenty of coverage of the ACC women's tournament, with two early games follow Friday. The semifinals start Saturday at 1 p.m., and the women's champ will be crowned Sunday, with tipoff at 1 p.m.
Comcast also shows the Big 12 women's game between Texas and Baylor Sunday at 3:30 p.m, while MASN has a Big East tournament game Saturday at noon.
ESPN2 offers the Big 10 women's championship game Sunday at 4:30 p.m. followed by a battle for the SEC crown.
The Lakers head east this week, and visit Orlando Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on ABC.
ESPN's Friday doubleheader features the Pistons taking on Cleveland at 7 p.m., followed by the Hornets at Spurs. Sunday, it's Wizards-Celtics at 8 p.m., then the Trail Blazers head to Denver.
Comcast will cover the Wizards hosting Milwaukee Friday, along with the Sunday game with the Celtics.
The NHL game of the week returns to NBC Sunday at 12:30 p.m., with the Red Wings visiting Chicago.
The Capitals continue their five-game homestand Saturday against the Rangers on Comcast. For bonus late-night hockey, on Saturday the Blue Jackets visit San Jose at 10:30 p.m.
NASCAR brings its show to Atlanta, Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX.
The PGA tour spends the month of March in Florida on NBC. The Honda Classic will be shown Saturday and Sunday starting at 3 p.m.
MASN shows exhibition baseball Sunday, with the Red Sox facing the Orioles at 1 p.m.
