We type, therefore we are

The blogosphere lost another long-time member with the death this week of Gerard Vanderleun - proprietor of American Digest.
He wanted his last post to be one discussing his name - passed down from any uncle who died during World War II.
The post was first published on Memorial Day 2003 - with timeless themes of a family dealing with a loss years after the event.
His uncle's name is on a monument at Battery Park in New York.
His works at American Digest reside on the internet for two more years.
The memories endure.

Did anyone do a split screen?

Powerline discuesses two of today's big political event - the vote for Speaker of the House and Ron DeSantis' second inauguration.
They were going on at the same time.
Did any TV network show both?
