PETA's complaints about donkey basketball reached the Staunton News Leader today.
Buckeye Donkey Ball will be providing the donkeys for Wednesday's fundraiser.
Pat Barthen co-owns Buckeye Donkey Ball, the company that will provide the donkeys and host the entertainment for Wednesday event. He said he often hears PETA's objections to use of animals in entertainment, so despite efforts to take care of his donkeys, he said his company will never be able to appease the activist group.
