Augusta County has eight more days of school before we're halfway through the school year.
It's doubtful the high temperature will rise above freezing this week, and 40 might be the warmest by the middle of next week.
Hope teachers aren't talking about global warming this week. Especially in the elementary schools, where it's probably too cold for the kids to go outside for recess.
The teachers will be cooped up with young kids inside all week. Kids who can't play outside after school due to the cold. Kids who need to be active but can't because of the weather.
Don't think the kids will be able to focus on any global warming lessons with two-week old snow covering the ground.
