Instapundit posts a link to Keith Hennessey's article on seven challenges for reconciliation.
Reading it, it reminded me of how NASA gets some satellites to distant planets with less fuel. You launch the rocket, sweep past the moon and Earth a few times, Venus, Mars or the asteroid belt, and eventually you get to your destination.
You need all of these calculations to go right to have success. But you know where the planets are going to be when you're doing the calculations.
Planets don't stop and reverse course. Senators or Representatives do.
The word reconciliation sounds easy enough. Looking at the rules, it's more like rocket science. And I don't think Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid are up to the job of being rocket scientists.
