I'm learning headline writing skills from Sports Illustrated today.
Did Vice President Mike Pence upstage the game, or did the protest by the 49ers?
The 49ers are the last large group of players continue to protest during the anthem.
Other teams have moved on or modified their protests from two weeks ago.
Did so many 49ers take a knee because Pence was in the building?
Would more have stood without his presence?
A better question to ask than immediately blaming Pence and President Trump.
