Newt Gingrich wants to challenge President Obama to seven Lincoln-Douglas style debates in the fall.
Want to put the country to sleep?
It's doubtful Obama will agree to such lengthy debates when Gingrich could shine.
But it probably doesn't matter how many times Obama would debate in the fall.
Ronald Reagan had just one debate with Jimmy Carter.
We know how that ended.
