The discussion of President Trump's tweets often moves from "not presidential" to "preventing his agenda from being discussed."
Critics imagine how much could be done if President Trump didn't divert the discussion into the Twitter gutter.
He could even bring Democrats and Republicans together.
I doubt it.
We've seen a few times where Trump acted like people think a president should - his speech to Congress in February and his first overseas trip.
Immediately, any hint of praise for the presidential Trump got met with a chorus of anger - how can you normalize him?
You can keep dreaming of the lovely things that would happen if President Trump reduced his tweet output.
I doubt reality would match up.
