Weekend watchdog

College Gameday on ESPN also seeks the biggest games of the week.
This week, they visit the biggest venue.
NASCAR's Bristol Motor Speedway put a football field in the middle of its track, and hosts Tennessee and Virginia Tech Saturday at 8 p.m. ABC has game coverage.
Michigan Stadium has held the college football attendance record for just over 115,000 in the stands for a game against Notre Dame. Around 150,000 are expected for the contest at Bristol, as the track infield becomes a playing field.
The college weekend continues with ACC action between Louisville and Syracuse Friday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
Virginia heads west to take on Oregon on ESPN Saturday at 10:30 p.m. The network's day begins at noon as Pittsburgh battles Penn State and TCU takes on Arkansas at 7 p.m.
Michigan meets Central Florida on ABC at noon, followed by Tulsa-Ohio State at 3:30 p.m.
CBS offers Florida-Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. while Notre Dame has its home opener against Nevada on NBC. Fox has BYU battling Utah at 7:30 p.m.
Nebraska tangles with Nevada on ESPN2 at noon, followed by top-ranked Alabama against Western Kentucky. In primetime, South Carolina visits Mississippi State before Washington State meets Boise State in the nightcap.
FoxSports1 has Oklahoma State against Central Michigan at noon and it's Baylor-SMU at 3:30 p.m. Texas Tech takes on Arizona State at 10 p.m.
The ACC network brings Troy against Clemson Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Kansas hosts Ohio on MASN2 at 2:30 p.m.
Florida State faces Charleston Southern at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast. Richmond tangles with Norfolk State at 6 p.m.
CBS brings the Ravens' opener against the Bills Sunday at 1 p.m., while Fox has Packers-Jaguars followed by the Giants' visit to Dallas. New England takes on Arizona on NBC Sunday night.
The Redskins host the Steelers at 6:50 p.m. on ESPN, followed by Rams-49ers in the nightcap.
The Nationals host the Phillies on MASN Friday and Saturday, moving to MASN2 Sunday afternoon. The Orioles visit the Tigers on MASN2 Friday and Saturday, and MASN and TBS Sunday.
Fox returns to coverage Saturday afternoon, featuring Cubs-Astros and the Blue Jays battling the Red Sox. ESPN closes the weekend with Cubs playing the Astros Sunday at 8 p.m.
NASCAR's Chase for the Cup will be set after Saturday night's race in Richmond. NBC Sports network has coverage at 7:30 p.m., after the Xfinity Series goes Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The PGA tour sets its 30-player field for the Tour Championship with this weekend's BMW Championship on NBC Saturday at noon and Sunday at 2 p.m.
ESPN2 has the Mixed Doubles championship of the U.S. Open Friday at noon, followed by the men's semifinals at 3 p.m. on ESPN. The women's championship will be Saturday at 4 p.m., with the men's final Sunday at 4 p.m.
D.C. United takes on the Red Bulls on ESPN Sunday at 1 p.m.
Manchester United meets Manchester City on NBC Sports network Saturday at 6:30 a.m., followed by Arsenal-Southampton. Liverpool battles Leicester City at 12:30 p.m., while CNBC carries Stoke City against Tottenham Hotspur.
