I guess people who deal with the presidential debates don't watch the NFL.
Two of the three are on nights that NFL games have been played since 1990 - Sunday and Monday.
One game in each time slot.
It's kind of a big deal.
One of the 2012 debates was on Monday - the final one.
It's understandable that there's more problems this cycle - the NFL added Thursday games since 2012.
But that still leaves Tuesday and Wednesday free, and Friday - when a presidential and vice presidential debates were scheduled in 2008.
That's high school football night for those debate people who don't know about the game.
Trump has a point - a bad decision was made, even if it was agreed upon by both parties.
