When he enters the game, the defense can bring an American flag out on the field.
Kaepernick would have to take a knee at the sight of the flag.
Three downs - three plays losing yardage - and Kaepernick's offense leaves the field for the punting team.
Don't think the rule is fair?
The NFL just wants to show their respect for the flag and country.
