As Charlottesville prepares for the weekend of August 10-12, another disaster from the weekend last year pops up.
City Manager Maurice Jones lost his job since the events of last August 12.
But don't cry for him.
He's got a new job in North Carolina, and forgiveness of $80,000 in loans from Charlottesville.
And his new home doubled in value since 2012.
Pretty good for a former weekend TV sportscaster.
Twenty years ago, we covered the same high school soccer game.
He scored with his deal.
