Weekend watchdog

NASCAR has its big weekend at the small track, with Bristol hosting the series at the World's Fastest Half-Mile.
The flag drops Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
With six wins so far this season, Kyle Busch leads the points race with three to go until the start of playoffs. Kevin Harvick stands in second after taking the checkered flag seven times, followed by Martin Truex Jr.
The Xfinity Series goes Friday at 7:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network, after qualifying at 3:30 p.m.
The IndyCar series visits Pocono Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network, after qualifying Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Orioles meet Cleveland for the weekend on MASN with Saturday's game at 4 p.m. also on FoxSports1.
The Nationals host the Marlins on MASN2 for the weekend.
FoxSports1 offers the Brewers against the Cardinals Saturday at 7 p.m. The Yankees take on the Blue Jays Sunday at 1 p.m. on TBS, with the Mets facing the Phillies in Williamsport on ESPN Sunday at 7 p.m.
The Little League World Series continues Friday as Spain battles Japan in the day's first game at 2 p.m. on ESPN. Michigan meets Idaho at 4 p.m. before Canada-Panama and Hawaii takes on Georgia at 8 p.m.
Thursday's losers take the field Saturday at 1 p.m. on ESPN, then ABC has the United States losers from Thursday at 3 p.m. ESPN resumes coverage Saturday at 6 and 8 p.m., with winner's games Sunday at 9, 11 and 1 p.m. on ESPN and 2 p.m. on ABC.
Games continue through next Sunday's championship game.
The Junior League has its final Sunday at noon on ESPN2.
The second week of the NFL preseason concludes when the Ravens take on the Colts on ESPN Monday at 8 p.m.
North of the border, Montreal takes on Edmonton on ESPN2 Saturday at 9 p.m.
In MLS play, Seattle faces the Galaxy on ESPN Saturday at 4 p.m. D.C. United takes on the Revolution on FoxSports1 Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Cardiff City faces Newcastle United Saturday at 7:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network. Manchester City meets Huddersfield Town Sunday at 8:25 a.m., followed by Brighton & Hove Albion against Manchester United.
CBS offers the Wyndham Championship from Greensboro Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. Fox has the championship of the U.S. Amateur Sunday at 4:30 p.m., after the semifinals Saturday at noon. FoxSports1 has the quarterfinals Friday at 7 p.m.
The US Open Series continues with the Western and Southern Open with quarterfinals Friday at 1 and 7 p.m. ESPN2 has semifinal play Saturday at noon and 7 p.m., with finals Sunday at 2 and 4 p.m.
The Mystics meet the Lynx in the WNBA Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Budds Creek National motorcycle race will be on NBC Sports network Saturday at 3 p.m.
