Weekend watchdog

Penn State fans have had lots to be happy about this season.
Saturday, the primetime cameras of ABC return to Happy Valley for the Nittany Lions' contest with Michigan.
Penn State already has a primetime ABC victory over Buffalo at home, and won last Saturday against Iowa under the road lights.
The college football weekend continues Friday as Syracuse hosts Pittsburgh on ESPN at 7 p.m. and Ohio State visits Northwestern at 8:30 p.m. on the Big Ten network.
The ACC network starts Saturday with Georgia Tech against Miami, then Virginia hosts Duke at 3:30 p.m. Wake Forest faces Florida State at 7:30 p.m.
Clemson clashes with Louisville at noon on ABC, followed by Oregon-Washington.
LSU meets Mississippi State on CBS at 3:30 p.m.
West Virginia visits Oklahoma on Fox at noon and Baylor battles Oklahoma State at 4 p.m.
ESPN starts its day at noon as Florida faces South Carolina. Kentucky takes on Georgia at 6 p.m. and top-ranked Alabama meets Tennessee at 9 p.m.
It's Purdue-Iowa on ESPN2 at noon and Temple travels to SMU at 3:30 p.m. Memphis meets Tulane at 7 p.m. before BYU-Boise State closes the night at 10:15 p.m.
Texas Tech tangles with Iowa State at noon on FoxSports1.
NBCSports Washington has a pair of ACC contests, with North Carolina State-Boston College at noon followed by Virginia Tech hosting North Carolina at 3:30 p.m.
TCU takes on Kansas State on MASN at 2:30 p.m.
The Raiders take on the Packers on CBS Sunday at 1 p.m. Fox offers Redskins-49ers at 1 p.m. followed by the Ravens' trip to Seattle.
NBC has the Eagles and Cowboys Sunday night, with Patriots-Jets on ESPN Monday night.
Wednesday's rainout pushed the American League Championship Series back a day. There's Game 5 Friday at 7 p.m. on FoxSports1. If necessary, the series returns to Houston Saturday and Sunday on FoxSports1. The winner advances to the World Series against Washington starting Tuesday night.
The Capitals host the Rangers Friday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington and visit Chicago Sunday at 7 p.m.
It's the quaterfinals of the Rugby World Cup in Japan this weekend. England takes on Australia at 3 a.m. Saturday on NBC Sports network and Wales faces France Sunday at 6 a.m.
Philadelphia faces the Red Bulls on FoxSports1 Sunday at 3 p.m. and it's Minnesota against the Galaxy on ESPN at 8:30 p.m.
NASCAR heads to Kansas, with the Monster Series on NBC Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Xfinity Series goes Saturday at 3 p.m. on NBC.
Everton faces West Ham United Saturday at 7:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network, followed by Tottenham Hotspur against Watford at 9:55 a.m. NBC offers Crystal Palace's clash with Manchester City at 12:30 p.m.
Manchester United meets Liverpool Sunday at 11:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network.
In the Bundesliga, Augsburg faces Bayern Munich Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on FoxSports1. It's Koln against Paderborn Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
It's the semifinals of the women's soccer league Sunday on ESPN2, with North Carolina against the Reign at 1:30 p.m. before Chicago clashes with Portland.
The NBA preseason continues for the Wizards Friday at 7 p.m. when they visit the 76ers on NBC Sports Washington-plus. 
TNT has the Knicks taking on the Pelicans Friday at 8 p.m.
Michigan State meets Penn State in women's volleyball Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN.
There's motocross racing from Las Vegas Saturday at 10 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
