A decade ago, things looked dark.
Barack Obama loomed as the likely presidential election winner.
Democrats held both houses of Congress.
What did the future hold?
On this day in 2008, I started this blog.
Are you better off now than you were 10 years ago?
If so, it's nothing I did.
But starting a blog helped me get through the early days of the Obama era.
I saw new viewpoints and interacted with others with similar views.
And a few times, my views got a wider audience.
It's been great to ride the wave these 10 years.
