Weekend watchdog

The Washington Capitals earned the most points this NHL season.
The Washington Wizards won their first division championship since the Carter administration.

The NHL playoffs began Wednesday, and the NBA tips off this weekend with 16 teams in each league vying for the title.
The Capitals continue their quest with Game 2 Saturday at 7 p.m. on Comcast and NBC Sports network.
It's Game 2 between the Rangers and Canadiens Friday at 7 p.m. on USA. The Wild take on the Blues Friday at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports network with Sharks-Oilers in the nightcap.
NBC brings two games Saturday. The Bruins battle Ottawa at 3 p.m. and there's a primetime meeting between the Predators and Blackhawks.
The Flames face the Ducks to close out the night on NBC Sports network.
The Wild and Blues meet in Game 3 of their series Sunday at 3 p.m. on NBC. CNBC offers Penguins-Blue Jackets at 6 p.m. with NBC Sports network showing Canadiens against Rangers at 7 p.m. and Oilers clashing with the Sharks at 10 p.m.
NBA action begins Saturday at 3 p.m. on ABC with the Cavaliers hosting the Pacers. ESPN takes over with three more contests, as the Bucks face the Raptors at 5:30 p.m. followed by Grizzlies-Spurs and Jazz against the Clippers.
The Wizards tangle with the Hawks at 1 p.m. on TNT and Comcast. ABC brings the Warriors' contest with the Trail Blazers at 3:30 p.m., then it's back to TNT for Bulls-Celtics at 6:30 p.m. and the Thunder meet the Rockets at 9 p.m.
The Orioles continue their visit to Toronto Friday on MASN2, with coverage on MASN Saturday and Sunday.
The Nationals host the Phillies Friday at 4 p.m. on MASN, with games Saturday and Sunday on MASN2.
The Indians host the Tigers Saturday at 4 p.m. on FoxSports1 and the weekend concludes with the Cardinals' visit to Yankee Stadium Sunday at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
On the college diamond, it's Oklahoma State-Kansas Friday at 8 p.m. on FoxSports1. Florida faces Vanderbilt Saturday at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
The PGA tour visits Hilton Head Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. on CBS.
ESPN offers MLS soccer between Philadelphia and New York City FC Friday at 7 p.m. and Orlando City hosts the Galaxy Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on Fox.
Tottenham Hotspur takes on AFC Bournemouth Saturday at 7:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network, then Crystal Palace clashes with Leicester City. West Bromwich Albion meets Liverpool Sunday at 8:25 a.m. followed by Manchester United-Chelsea.
It's Manchester City against Southampton Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on NBC.
The NCAA women's gymnastics championships will be Friday at 9 p.m. on ESPN after the semifinals Friday at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
There's rugby between the Harlequins and Exeter Friday at 2:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network and Leicester faces Newcastle Saturday at 2 p.m.
Missouri meets Alabama in college softball Sunday at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
