Rules for political discourse

In the final days before the election, you may have the opportunity to speak with someone with totally different views than you have.
Here's an easy primer for conservatives talking with liberals, or vice versa.

I'm discerning.
You're bigoted.

I use facts and reason.
You use stale talking points.

My sources are impartial.
Your sources can be easily dismissed as partisan hacks.

Here's my facts.
Here's an opinion piece that disputes your facts.

I live in reality.
You live in fantasy.
