Weekend watchdog

Notre Dame's regular season has ended and it looks like they will be part of the four-team college playoff field.
Who will join them?
ESPN has the official announcement Sunday at noon after the conferences hold their championships this weekend.
Fox has the Pac 12 title game Friday at 8 p.m. with Utah facing Washington. In the MAC, Buffalo battles Northern Illinois on ESPN2 Friday at 7 p.m.
Top-ranked Alabama takes on Georgia in the SEC championship game on CBS at 4 p.m.
Clemson clashes with Pittsburgh in the ACC championship at 8 p.m. on ABC.
In the Big 12, Texas tangles with Oklahoma at noon on ABC.
The Sun Belt finale matches Louisiana and Appalachian State on ESPN at noon.
Central Florida looks to continue its unbeaten season in the American Conference final against Memphis at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
It's the Mountain West championship between Fresno State and Boise State at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN.
Ohio State battles Northwestern on Fox at 8 p.m. for the Big Ten crown.
CBS has Jim Nantz and Tony Romo catching the Ravens' contest with the Falcons Sunday at 1 p.m. The Giants take on the Bears on Fox at 1 p.m., followed by Vikings-Patriots.
The Steelers host the Chargers on NBC Sunday night, with Redskins-Eagles on ESPN Monday at 8:15 p.m.
Manchester City meets Bournemouth Saturday at 9:55 a.m. on NBC Sports network.
There's three matches Sunday on NBC Sports network, starting with Chelsea-Fulham at 6:55 a.m. Arsenal faces Hottenham Hotspur at 9 a.m. then it's Liverpool-Everton.
In the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen faces Bayern Munich Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on FoxSports1. Leipzig battles M'gladbach Sunday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Eintracht against Wolfsburg.
The Rockets take on the Spurs on ESPN Friday at 8 p.m., with Nuggets-TrailBlazers as the nightcap.
 The Wizards visit the 76ers on NBC Sports Washington Friday at 7 p.m. and take on the Nets Saturday at 7 p.m.
On the college hardcourt, Central Michigan tangles with TCU Friday at 7:30 p.m. on MASN2.
Fox has Louisville-Seton Hall Saturday at noon, then top-ranked Gonzaga meets Creighton. It's Southern Cal-Nevada at 4:30 p.m.
Michigan meets Purdue on ESPN Saturday at 3:30 p.m., followed by Stanford-Kansas.
ESPN2 has five college contests Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. with UNC-Greensboro against Kentucky. Villanova faces LaSalle at 3 p.m. and Vanderbilt battles North Carolina State at 5 p.m. It's Stetson-Duke at 7 p.m. with Oregon against Houston in the nightcap.
Oakland battles Xavier Saturday at noon on FoxSports1. Marquette meets Kansas State at 2:30 p.m. and Rhode Island plays Providence at 5 p.m.
Temple takes on St. Joseph's Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network, followed by Wake Forest-Richmond.
Arizona clashes with Connecticut on ESPN2 Sunday at 1 p.m.
On the women's court, FoxSports1 has Texas taking on Mississippi State Sunday at 2 p.m. before Tennessee-Oklahoma State.
The Capitals tangle with the Devils Friday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington-plus, and host the Ducks Sunday at 3 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
NBC Sports network has men's downhill skiing Saturday at 1 p.m. and women's downhill at 2 p.m. The women's giant slalom takes place Sunday at 2 p.m.
