In my parents' house is a football autographed by members of the 1959 Baltimore Colts championship team.
Including Jerry Richardson.
Richardson used his playoff bonus to start a business with restaurants in South Carolina.
In the mid-80s, I ate lunch often at Quincy's Steakhouse - part of his empire.
The money earned from that helped Richardson get the expansion franchise for Carolina in 1995.
Now his time is up, thanks to news of past sexual harassment settlements.
