Weekend watchdog

The Olympic flame goes out this weekend, awaiting the gathering for the summer games in Tokyo in two years.
There's bobsled and speed skating on NBC Friday at 8 p.m. The figure skating gala highlights action on Saturday at 8 p.m., with the closing ceremony Sunday at 8 p.m.
NBC Sports network has men's cross-country skiing Friday at midnight, with the men's ice hockey bronze medal game at 6:30 a.m. The women's curling gold medal match will be Saturday at 7 p.m., with the men's ice hockey gold medal game at 10:30 p.m.
NASCAR hits Atlanta for the weekend, with the Monster Series on Fox Sunday at 2 p.m. The Xfinity Series goes Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on FoxSports1.
MASN has preseason baseball between the Orioles and Rays Friday at 1 p.m.
The Wizards face the Hornets on NBC Sports Washington Friday at 7 p.m.
The Timberwolves take on the Rockets on ESPN Friday at 8 p.m. and the Lakers host the Mavericks at 10:30 p.m.
The Thunder visit the Warriors Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC, with Spurs-Cavaliers Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
ESPN has the Wizards against the 76ers Sunday at 8 p.m.
On the college court, Dayton faces Rhode Island on ESPN2 Friday at 7 p.m. and Western Michigan battles Ball State at 9 p.m.
Ohio State visits Indiana Friday at 8 p.m. on FoxSports1.
Virginia Tech hosts Louisville on CBS Saturday at 1 p.m.
Seton Hall battles St. John's on Fox Saturday at 1 p.m. and Villanova clashes with Creighton at 2:30 p.m.
