Postseason in their future?

College football gets going this weekend.
The University of Virginia has a new coach, and maybe hope of playing a game in December.
My prediction is Virginia will finish somewhere between worst-case scenario 5-7 to best-case scenario 7-5. I’m thinking 6-6, but wouldn’t be surprised if this team finds its way to seven wins under Coach Bronco Mendenhall.
There are a few swing games -- Pitt, Louisville, Miami, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech -- that will likely determine the finish, but I believe the biggest swing game of the season is at UConn on Sept. 17. Win that one over former UVa defensive coordinator Bob Diaco (under Al Groh), and there’s a good chance that the Cavaliers will go 3-1 nonconference, meaning they have to win only three of eight ACC games to become bowl-eligible.
