Have you noticed gas prices jumping this weekend?
They went up when the gasoline pipeline under our feet went down in Alabama.
There's one main pipeline between Houston and New Jersey.
Any problem along the line impacts the South Atlantic and Mid-Atlantic.
Locally, people in Augusta and Nelson counties don't want a natural gas pipeline to come through.
They may use this pipeline disruption to prove their point.
But people still need energy to get to them.
The proposed pipeline is for the people, not just Dominion and its shareholders.
We all benefit with lower energy prices when supply can reach the demand.
