Weekend watchdog

Virginia has never won a Coastal Division title since the ACC added divisions in 2005.
Virginia has not beaten Virginia Tech since 2002 - when this year's senior class was still in kindergarten.
Friday in Charlottesville, the Cavaliers hope to end both streaks when the Hokies come to town. ABC has coverage at noon.
The team both enter the contest with 8-3 records overall and 5-2 in the conference. The winner will advance to play Clemson in next week's ACC championship and claims bragging rights for another year.
The college football weekend begins Thursday with the Egg Bowl between Mississippi and Mississippi State at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Texas takes on Texas Tech on Fox Friday at noon, followed by the Apple Bowl between Washington and Washington State at 4 p.m.
Arkansas battles Missouri on CBS at 2:30 p.m.
Cincinnati clashes with Memphis on ABC at 3:30 p.m.
ESPN offers TCU against West Virginia at 4:15 p.m. followed by South Florida-Central Florida.
It's the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
NBC Sports network has the Bayou Classic between Southern and Grambling State at 5 p.m.
Michigan meets Ohio State at noon on Fox, with Notre Dame-Stanford at 4 p.m. There's mayhem at 8 p.m. with Oklahoma against Oklahoma State.
Georgia takes on Georgia Tech on ABC at noon before Wisconsin meets Minnesota. Action heads west at 7:30 p.m. with Colorado's contest with Utah.
ESPN starts its day at noon with South Carolina hosting Clemson. Baylor battles Kansas at 3:30 p.m. before top-ranked LSU faces Texas A&M. It's Arizona-Arizona State in the nightcap at 10 p.m.
Indiana faces Purdue on ESPN2 at noon. It's Duke against Miami at 3:30 p.m., followed by Navy-Houston at 7 p.m. and Fresno State facing San Jose State at 10:30 p.m.
FoxSports1 has Illinois against Northwestern at noon and Maryland meeting Michigan State at 3:30 p.m. Kansas State takes on Iowa State at 7 p.m. with California-UCLA at 10:30 p.m.
Wake Forest meets Syracuse at 12:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
Boston College faces Pittsburgh on the ACC network at 3:30 p.m. and North Carolina tangles with North Carolina State at 7 p.m.
The NFL has its Thanksgiving tripleheader Thursday, starting at 12:30 p.m. when the Lions host the Bears on Fox. It's the 80th Thanksgiving Day contest for the Lions.
CBS has the Bills' visit to Dallas at 4:30 p.m., and NBC covers the Falcons taking on the Saints at 8:30 p.m.
The Ravens battle the 49ers on Fox Sunday at 1 p.m. CBS has the Redskins taking on the Panthers at 1 p.m. followed by Raiders-Chiefs.
The Patriots and Texans meet on NBC Sunday night, while playoff contenders Minnesota and Seattle battling on ESPN Monday.
The Wizards tangle with the Clippers Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
On the college court, ESPN has the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis Thursday. North Carolina meets Michigan at 1:30 p.m. followed by Oregon-Gonzaga.
ESPN2 has six contests Thanksgiving Day, starting at 11 a.m. with Maryland against Temple. Texas A&M takes on Harvard at 1:30 p.m. and Memphis meets North Carolina State at 4 p.m. It's Davidson-Marquette at 6:30 p.m., Seton Hall facing Southern Mississippi at 9 p.m. and Pepperdine's contest with Arizona at 11 p.m.
The Las Vegas Invitational offers Iowa-Texas Tech on FoxSports1 Thursday at 8 p.m. and Creighton's clash with San Diego State at 10:30 p.m.
There's the championship of the Battle 4 Atlantis on ESPN Friday at 2 p.m., after the third-place game at 11:30 a.m.
ESPN2 has more tournament action Friday. There's play from the Orlando Invitational at 11:30 and 4:30 p.m., with action from Wooden Legacy at 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The NIT tip-off tournament hits the court at 7 p.m., with the championship matching Mississippi and Oklahoma State at 9:30 p.m.
Minnesota meets DePaul on FoxSports1 at 3 p.m. Friday, and there's two more games from the Las Vegas Invitational at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Boston College visits Richmond Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
ESPN has the championship of the Orlando Invitational Sunday at 1 p.m. and final contest in the Wooden Legacy at 9 p.m.
There's a contest from the Wooden Legacy on ESPN2 Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and two more from Orlando at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Georgia Tech meets Bethune-Cookman Sunday at 6 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
FoxSports1 has Villanova-LaSalle Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
The Rangers and Bruins battle on NBC Friday at 1 p.m.
NBC Sports Washington has the Capitals' contest with the Lightning Friday at 5 p.m. and visit to Detroit Saturday at 7 p.m.
Newcastle United takes on Manchester City Saturday at 7:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network followed by Tottenham Hotspur-Bournemouth. Watford and Southampton battle on NBC at 12:30 p.m.
Norwich City goes against Arsenal on NBC Sports network Sunday at 8:55 a.m. before Manchester United faces Aston Villa.
In the Bundesliga, M'gladbach meets Frelburg Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on FoxSports1 followed by Werder Bremen against Wolfsburg.
Formula One has it's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Sunday at 8:05 a.m. on ESPN2.
