Weekend watchdog

Can the Red Sox and Yankees bounce back?
The American League Divisional Series continue Friday, after the Astros and Indians won Thursday's openers.
FoxSports1 starts the day at 2 p.m. with the Red Sox and Astros, with Yankees-Indians on MLB network at 5 p.m.
The National League Divisional Series get going on Friday on TBS, with Cubs-Nationals at 7:30 p.m. before the Dodgers battle the Diamondbacks at 10:30 p.m. The Nationals and Cubs meet for Game 2 Saturday at 5:30 p.m., followed by Dodgers-Diamondbacks at 9 p.m.
The American League series will have Game 3 on FoxSports1 Sunday in Boston at 2:30 p.m. and New York at 7:30 p.m.
The Capitals have their home opener against Montreal Saturday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
CBS has the Patriots' trip to Tampa Thursday at 8:25 p.m. The Ravens head west to meet the Raiders Sunday at 4:05 p.m. on CBS. The Cardinals visit the Eagles on Fox at 1 p.m., followed by Packers-Cowboys.
The Chiefs visit the Texans on NBC Sunday night, with Bears-Vikings on ESPN Monday night.
The college football weekend continues Friday as ESPN has a pair of contests - Memphis meeting Connecticut at 7 p.m. before Boise State battles BYU.
Penn State travels to Northwestern Saturday at noon on ABC, followed by Notre Dame-North Carolina. Michigan meets Michigan State at 7:30 p.m.
Florida faces LSU at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
Oklahoma takes on Iowa State at noon on Fox, then it's Maryland-Ohio State at 4 p.m. Washington State goes against Oregon at 8 p.m.
ESPN starts its day at noon with Georgia-Vanderbilt. Florida State faces Miami at 3:30 p.m. and top-ranked Alabama takes on Texas A&M at 7 p.m. The nightcap features California and Washington at 10:45 p.m.
Clemson hosts Wake Forest at noon on ESPN2, followed by Minnesota-Purdue. Virginia Tech tries to bounce back against Boston College at 7:15 p.m. and it's San Diego State-UNLV at 10:45 p.m.
FoxSports1 brings Texas Tech-Kansas at noon. TCU takes on West Virginia at 3:30 p.m. and Stanford faces Utah at 10:15 p.m.
Virginia takes on Duke on the ACC network at 12:20 p.m.
MASN offers Marshall meeting UNC-Charlotte at 6 p.m.
NASCAR's Monster Series playoffs are now down to 12 racers in contention, with the next stage starting in Charlotte Sunday at 2 p.m. on NBC. The Xfinity Series goes Saturday at 3 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
NBC Sports network has the Japanese Grand Prix Sunday at 12:30 a.m. There's qualifying Saturday at 2 a.m.
The Wizards have a preseason game against the Knicks Friday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington. ESPN shows Kings-Lakers Sunday at 9 p.m.
The road to the World Cup continues Friday as the United States meets Panama on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. and Mexico goes against Trinidad at 9:20 p.m.
England meets Lithuania on FoxSports1 Sunday at 11:25 a.m., followed by Germany against Azerbaijan. ESPN has Northern Ireland against Norway at 2:30 p.m.
The Breeder's Cup Challenge Series continues with the Bourbon/Spinster Stakes Sunday at 5 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
