As a former sportswriter, I'm amused by the reaction to Cam Newton's press conference answer.
Do players like having to explain everything they do everyday during the season?
Players know that coverage is necessary for their jobs.
But it's not enjoyable.
Sportswriters act as if Newton's comment to the woman writer was the worst thing ever.
Writers need to relax about Newton.
He didn't mean to insult the woman.
He probably doesn't hold any of you in high regard.
