Trump's script

The rise of Donald Trump frustrates pundits - why are people supporting him?
Don't they realize the problems he brings?
I found the Bible story that matches today's political situation.
As Samuel grew older, he wanted his sons to follow him as the judges leading Israel.
But his sons, like the sons of Eli before him, were corrupt.
The people wanted a king like the other nations.
God had Samuel list all the bad things that come with a king.
When they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”
Didn't make a difference.
Israel still wanted a king.
The American people see corruption in the current situation.
You can say Trump isn't the solution, but he's something different.
Your logic and reasoning doesn't slow the momentum.
