Knife in the back updates

Hurray, it's October. Time for the real fun in politics.
After the Rasmussen Reports poll came out Wednesday, Chris Graham at Augusta Free Press wrote what he heard - the Democratic National Committee might hold onto $5 million designated to the Deeds campaign.
Not Larry Sabato had a tweet that 3-4 million had already been sent to Deeds.
National Review Online's Campaign Spot picked up the story, and talked to a friend in Northern Virginia. That source thought the money was being held for a "vicious smear attack."
Tertium Quids didn't think that's likely - But as has often been stated, the Democratic party is not a suicide pact.
Who's right? Probably everybody. Like the story of the blind men and the elephant, each describing the part they can feel and not having the whole picture available.
Five weeks to go. Think of all the fun to come!!
