At 4-1 in the Coastal Division, the Cavaliers stand just ahead of the Panthers and Virginia Tech, both 3-1 in the league. They have not appeared in an ACC championship game, established in 2004.
The college football weekend continues Friday as Arizona battles Colorado at 10:30 p.m. on FoxSports1.

Baylor battles Oklahoma State at noon on FoxSports1, and TCU tangles with Kansas State at 3:30 p.m. Oregon State clashes with Southern Cal at 10 p.m.
The ACC network brings the clash between Georgia Tech and North Carolina at 12:15 p.m.
Syracuse takes on Wake Forest at noon on NBC Sports Washington.
CBS has the Ravens' contest with the Steelers Sunday at 1 p.m. The Redskins meet the Falcons on Fox at 1 p.m., with Rams-Saints in the late afternoon slot.
