Weekend watchdog

Four teams are two wins away from the Super Bowl.
Eight teams play this weekend for a chance to join them in the conference semifinals.
The AFC gets things going Saturday, with the winners advancing to either Baltimore or Kansas City.
Buffalo battles the Texans on ESPN at 4:30 p.m. Both teams enter the contest 10-6, with the Texans hosting as the AFC South champion.
New England plays in the wild-card round for the first time since 2010, meeting the Titans on CBS at 8 p.m.
The Saints lost the tiebreaker to the 49ers and Packers, placing them in the Sunday 1 p.m. contest against the sixth-seeded Vikings on Fox.
NBC has the NFC East champion Eagles against Seattle, which earned the fifth-seed after falling to the 49ers on the final play on last Sunday's regular season finale.
Bowl season continues Friday as Ohio faces Nevada in the Potato Bowl at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
It's the Armed Forces Bowl on ESPN Saturday at 11:30 a.m. matching Southern Mississippi and Tulane.
The 76ers visit the Rockets on ESPN Friday at 8:15 p.m., with Pelicans-Lakers as the nightcap.
NBC Sports Washington has the Wizards' contest with Portland Friday at 7 p.m.
FoxSports1 has Wisconsin against Ohio State Friday at 7 p.m. and Georgetown clashes with Seton Hall at 9 p.m.
Central Florida takes on Houston on ESPN2 Friday at 7 p.m.
Memphis meets Georgia on CBS Saturday at 1 p.m.
Indiana tangles with Maryland Saturday at noon on Fox, followed by Villanova-Marquette.
It's an ACC battle between Duke and Miami Saturday at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
ESPN2 has six contests Saturday, starting at noon with Oklahoma State-Texas Tech. Florida State faces Louisville at 2 p.m. and it's Notre Dame against Syracuse at 4 p.m. Alabama takes on Florida at 6 p.m., followed by Texas-Baylor and top-ranked Gongaza against Pepperdine in the nightcap.
Butler battles Creighton at noon Saturday on FoxSports1 and Providence faces DePaul at 2 p.m.
NBC Sports Washington offers a pair of ACC contests Saturday, with Wake Forest against Pittsburgh at noon followed by Virginia-Virginia Tech.
St. John's meets Xavier Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on Fox.
There's three Atlantic 10 games on NBC Sports network Sunday. VCU visits George Mason at noon, followed by Davidson-Duquesne and Massachusetts' contest with Saint Louis at 4 p.m.
FoxSports1 has Purdue-Illinois Sunday at 8 p.m. followed by Southern Cal against Washington.
On the women's court, Michigan State meets Michigan at noon. Cincinnati clashes with South Florida at 2 p.m. and Tennessee meets Kentucky at 4 p.m.
There's high school basketball on ESPN2 Friday at 9 p.m., with Patrick School facing Sierra Canyon.
The Capitals visit Carolina on NBC Sports Washington-plus Friday at 7:30 p.m. and host the Sharks Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
NBC Sports network offers a pair of contests Sunday, with Red Wings-Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. and the Predators' contest with the Mighty Ducks at 10 p.m.
On the college ice, Western Michigan meets Notre Dame on NBC Sports network Friday at 7 p.m.
The PGA tour has it's Tournament of Champions on NBC Saturday at 4 p.m.
Gloucester meets Bath in rugby Saturday at 10 a.m. on NBC Sports network. The Wasps face Northampton Sunday at 10 a.m.
There's motorcycle racing from Anaheim on NBC Sports network Saturday at 10 p.m
