The United Methodist Church has proposed a split over the ordination of gay clergy and the question of gay marriage.
The "Traditional Methodists" will consist of some American churches and more outside the States.
For liberals who blast American thoughts and praise those outside the country, why don't they follow the beliefs of their brothers around the world - and ban gay marriage?
