Weekend watchdog

It's been nine years since I began Weekend Watchdog on my site, moving to Wordpress in 2011.
I'm going to take a few months off to refresh.
But the sports will go on.
The Orioles and Nationals will fill the evening schedule on MASN most nights.
ESPN has the Sunday night window, and Fox will be airing games on the Saturdays prior to the All-Star game.
Washington will host the gathering of the best on July 17.
The postseason begins in the NBA and NHL this weekend, with 16 teams in each league battling for the crown. ABC has the NBA Finals in early June while NBC and NBC Sports network carry the Stanley Cup Final.
The NFL draft moves to Fox after years on ESPN, with the Cowboys hosting the action. The preseason schedule starts August 2 when the Ravens meet the Bears.
NASCAR continues on Fox and FoxSports1 through June, moving to NBC and NBC Sports network with the July 1 race at Chicagoland.
The IndyCar circuit gears up for its big race Memorial Day weekend, before hitting several Midwest venues for the summer.
With the Masters over, the PGA tour has three more majors to fill the schedule.
The tennis circuit has three more majors for the summer, with the French Open final on June 10, Wimbledon July 15 and the road to the U.S. Open from the end of July through August.
The NCAA's spring sports crown their champions in May and June. ESPN carries the lacrosse final four Memorial Day weekend, then the softball World Series and baseball World Series in Omaha.
The MLS continues through the summer on ESPN and FoxSports1.
NBC Sports network carries the Premier League's final weeks before delegation day in May.
FoxSports1 brings the German Bundesliga contests.
Russia hosts the World Cup, starting June 14 and continuing to the final July 15.
For fans of the horses, there's the Kentucky Derby May 5 and Preakness May 19. If one horse wins the first two, a Triple Crown championship could be waiting at the end of the 150th Belmont Stakes.
