Weekend watchdog

For years, fans wondered if we'd ever see another Triple Crown winner.
Saturday's winner hopes to make it back-to-back.
Twenty horses take the track Saturday at the Kentucky Derby, and two minutes of racing will produce the one who tries to match American Pharoah as a Triple Crown champion.
NBC has race coverage starting at 4 p.m. NBC Sports network has the earlier races Saturday at noon, and airs the Kentucky Oaks for fillies Friday at 12:30 p.m.
The NBA conference semifinals continue Friday with Game 3 of the Cavaliers' series with the Hawks at 7 p.m. on ESPN, followed by Spurs-Thunder. The Heat meet the Raptors Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN, and in primetime the Warriors head to Houston on ABC.
ABC has the Cavaliers battling the Hawks Sunday at 3:30 p.m. TNT brings the Spurs' visit to Oklahoma City at 8 p.m.
The NHL postseason continues Friday as the Islanders host Tampa Bay in Game 4 of their series at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
NBC has Game 5 of St. Louis-Dallas at 1 p.m., with the Capitals facing the Penguins at 7:15 p.m. The Sharks host the Predators on NBC Sports network at 10 p.m. It's Islanders-Lightning on NBC Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Orioles host Oakland for the weekend - Friday and Sunday on MASN and Saturday evening on MASN2. The Nationals face the Cubs on MASN Friday and Saturday before returning to MASN2 Sunday afternoon.
FoxSports1 has a pair of games Saturday, with Rangers-Tigers at 1 p.m. followed by the Nationals and Cubs at 4 p.m. It's another Sunday night game between the Red Sox and Yankees on ESPN at 8 p.m.
NASCAR spends Mother's Day weekend in Kansas, with the Sprint Cup race Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on FoxSports1. The truck race goes Friday at 8:30 p.m. on FoxSports1.
CBS has the PGA tour stop in Charlotte Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Galaxy face the Revolution in MLS action Sunday at 3:30 p.m., and FoxSports1 has New York against D.C. United at 7:30 p.m.
Norwich City meets Manchester United Saturday at 7:40 a.m. on NBC Sports network, followed by Aston Villa-Newcastle United.
ESPN has a pair of SEC softball games Saturday, with Georgia-Alabama at noon followed by Texas A&M against Auburn at 2 p.m.
The NCAA crowns its men's volleyball champions Saturday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
ESPN2 has the Big Ten men's lacrosse championship Saturday at 6 p.m.
The United States meets Canada in the World Hockey Championships Friday at 9 a.m. on NBC Sports network.
