ADA costs touchdown

How much does it cost to retrofit a football stadium for the American with Disabilities Act?
Bluefield, West Virginia is looking at $500,000 to bring its football stadium, built in the 1930s, up to the standard. That's a lot of money for a small town, shrinking for years as the coal trade dwindled.
Handicapped fans have watched games - college, high school, semi-pro and youth - for years. They likely had to watch at field level, but people worked to make their visit enjoyable.
Now, they have a government deadline to make some changes to restrooms and seating to meet the law. Maybe more than they've put into the stadium in years.
People care for their friends.
Government cares for their rules being followed.
