Just read Ben Tribbett's analysis of the election and Deeds' faults.
So Democrats need to excite young voters. How? If they look at what's coming, they'll see higher taxes and new laws to require them buy insurance - which will be used to subsidize union retirement plans.
The young demographic that plans on living with its parents until age 50 will be excited. Others, not so much.
Maybe if all Democratic candidates could legally change their names to Barack Obama before appearing on the ballot. They might have a chance.
Progressives like their ideas an awful lot. Does the rest of the world have the same opinion when those ideas are turned into reality?
I think a lot of Democratic candidates and staffers will be looking for work in January 2011. And still wondering what hit them.
