What have been the political stories of the last five weeks?
1. The birthers.
2. Town-hall meetings.
3. School speech controversy (Hey, Obama, leave our kids alone).
So, you think opponents have irrational, maybe raaaaacist reasons for their opposition.
How do you get what you want done without feeding their fears? Ignoring them or pushing through your plan won't solve that problem. It will probably make it worse.
