Augusta Free Press has an interview with Democratic candidate Erik Curren. To me, it raises the thought "He's doomed" without jumping out and saying it. But somebody in Democratic circles is thinking it.
Reading between the lines at the end, here's some possible numbers from the internal polling before the Chris Saxman withdrawal.
Saxman 56%, undecided 23%, Curren 21%
Most likely, Saxman left replacement candidate Dickie Bell in a good place to win in November.
