Via Instapundit, the House Appropriations Committee added two Gulfstream jets to the one requested by the Air Force. So government officials and members of Congress can use them.
Cost - $200 million.
Carbon footprint - probably big.
Possible election impact - probably big, too. Especially if Instapundit's friends use it right.
