I saw this paragraph in a post at Blue Virginia.
It would really be nice if all Democrats printed their materials using union shops and also recycled materials. In this case, it looks like the Deeds campaign decided it was more important to get the literature out quickly in the closing days of a heated campaign than to do either of those things...
I'm trying to imagine how things went at the Deeds campaign headquarters. Was this the exchange?
"Where are those new brochures?"
"The union shop said they could get them to us June 9 at the earliest."
"That's election day. We need those brochures to win. Just get them done anyway you can."
