At least most fans won't be distracted from their Christmas activities.
Before the big day, NFL network has a pair of games on Saturday. The Redskins visit the Titans at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Ravens' contest with the Chargers.
Fox has the Cowboys' clash with Tampa Bay Sunday at 1 p.m. The Eagles host the Texans on CBS at 1 p.m., followed by Steelers-Saints.
The Chiefs tangle with the Seahawks on NBC Sunday night.
Bowl season continues Friday at 12:30 p.m. when Florida International takes on Toledo. BYU battles Western Michigan at 4 p.m. from Boise.
ESPN has four bowls on Saturday, starting at noon with the Birmingham Bowl matching Memphis and Wake Forest. Army takes on Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl at 3:30 p.m., followed by Buffalo-Troy from Mobile. In the nightcap, Hawai'i faces Louisiana Tech at 10:30 p.m.
The Bucks battle the Celtics Friday at 8 p.m. on ESPN before the Pelicans meet the Lakers.
NBC Sports Washington has the Wizards' clash with the Suns Saturday at 7 p.m. They visit the Pacers Sunday at 5 p.m.
On the college hardcourt, Oregon battles Baylor on ESPN2 Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Providence-Texas.
FoxSports1 has Butler against Cal-Irvine at 6:30 p.m. and Buffalo tangles with Marquette at 8:30 p.m.
Villanova clashes with Connecticut Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS. Ohio State takes on UCLA at 3 p.m. followed by Kentucky-North Carolina.
ESPN2 has five contests on Saturday, starting with Wake Forest-Tennessee at noon. Clemson faces South Carolina at 2 p.m. and it's Wichita State against VCU at 4 p.m. Vanderbilt meets Kansas State at 7 p.m. before Kansas-Arizona State.
DePaul hosts Boston College Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on FoxSports1, followed by Seton Hall-Maryland. Sacred Heart meets St. John's at 8 p.m. and it's San Diego against Washington State in the nightcap.
There are semifinals of the Diamond Head Classic Sunday on ESPN2 at 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
In women's hoops, Notre Dame meets Marquette on FoxSports1 Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Capitals host the Sabres on NBC Sports Washington Friday at 7 p.m. and visit Ottawa Saturday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington-plus.
The Kings take on the Sharks Saturday at 4 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
NBC Sports network has Wolverhampton's contest with Liverpool Friday at 2:55 p.m. Arsenal battles Burnley Saturday at 7:25 a.m. followed by Chelsea-Leicester City. NBC offers Cardiff City against Manchester United Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Everton faces Tottenham Hotspur Sunday at 10:55 a.m. on NBC Sports network.
In the Bundesliga, Dortmund faces M'gladbach Friday at 2:30 p.m. on FoxSports1. Leipzig tangles with Werder Bremen Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and it's Augsburg-Wolfsburg Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
