Weekend watchdog

The third week of the NFL preseason is usually time for the starters to get their extended playing time before the season openers.
Broadcasters need their warmup work, and get it this weekend.
CBS offers the Browns and Buccaneers Friday at 8 p.m. and Raiders hosting the Titans Saturday at 8 p.m.
There's a pair of games on Fox Sunday afternoon, with the Chargers visiting the Vikings at 1 p.m. and Cardinals-Texans at 4 p.m. NBC practices in its Sunday night slot with the Bengals battling the Jaguars.
Comcast brings the Redskins' game with the Bills Friday at 7:30 p.m., and the Ravens tangle with the Lions Saturday at 7 p.m.
The college football season starts in Australia Friday at 10 p.m., as Hawaii meets California in Sydney on ESPN. Charleston Southern takes on North Dakota State Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Arena Football has its championship Friday at 7 p.m. on ESPN with Philadelphia battling Arizona in the Arena Bowl.
North of the border, it's Saskatchewan facing Edmonton Friday at 10 p.m.
There's high school football Saturday on ESPN - Pine-Richlands meeting St. Edward at noon and Saguaro from Arizona against Valor Christian at 3:30 p.m. Action moves to ESPN2 at 6 p.m. with IMG Academy clashing with Grayson, and the nightcap features Bishop Gorman of Nevada and Cedar Hill.
Florida football takes the stage Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN2 with Trinity Christian taking on Cocoa.
The Orioles visit the Yankees for the weekend on MASN while the Nationals host the Rockies on MASN2.
FoxSports1 brings Cubs-Dodgers Saturday at 4 p.m. followed by the Angels taking on the Tigers. The Cubs and Dodgers play again on TBS Sunday at 4 p.m., with ESPN showing the Red Sox and Royals Sunday at 8 p.m.
The Little League World Series crowns its champion Sunday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
The International final will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on ABC, followed by the United States matchup at 3:30 p.m. The third place game will be on ESPN Sunday at 10 a.m.
Michigan hosts the Sprint Cup series Sunday at 2 p.m. on NBC Sports network, with the Truck race Saturday at 1 p.m. on FoxSports1. The Xfinity Series goes on NBC Sports network Saturday at 3 p.m.
NBC Sports network has the Belgian Grand Prix Sunday at 7 p.m. with qualifying on CNBC Saturday at 8 p.m
The IndyCar circuit takes the track on NBC Sports network Saturday at 9 p.m.
The PGA tour's playoff season begins at the Barclays Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. on CBS.
ESPN has a pair of MLS contests Sunday, with the Red Bulls facing the Revolution at 2:30 p.m. followed by Portland-Seattle. New York City battles Orlando FC Sunday at 7 p.m. on FoxSports1.
Fox has Bundesliga Soccer between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer 04 Leverkusen Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
ESPN2 has the final two tournaments before the U.S. Open, with the Connecticut Open semifinals Friday at 1 and 7 p.m. before Saturday's final at 4 p.m. There's action from Winston-Salem with semifinals Friday at 3 p.m. and finals Saturday at 2 p.m.
Orange County faces San Diego in the finals of World Team Tennis Friday at 5 p.m. on ESPN2.
Action on the Breeders Cup Challenge Series will be on NBC Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
There's a pair of WNBA games on ESPN2 Sunday, as Seattle meets Minnesota at 7 p.m. before the Sparks battle the Mercury at 9 p.m.
