Weekend watchdog

The busiest time of the NBA and NHL postseasons are here, with multiple games on TV almost every night.
The NBA continues its conference semifinals this weekend, while the NHL - starting the playoffs later due to the lockout - closes the first round. ESPN has the doubleheader Friday, with the Bulls hosting Miami at 8 p.m. before the Spurs take on the Warriors. It's the Thunder at Memphis Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN, with ABC bringing the primetime action between the Knicks and Pacers at 8 p.m.
ABC shows Game 4 of the Warriors and Spurs Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
On the ice, the Capitals and Rangers meet in Game 5 Friday at 7:30 p.m. on Comcast. The Ducks can finish off the Red Wings at 8 p.m. on CNBC, and it's Blues at Kings for Game 6 at 10:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
The Penguins and Islanders will play Saturday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports network, with Game 7 Sunday if necessary. The Capitals have another contest with the Rangers Sunday at Madison Square Garden, and other games may join the weekend slate.
The IIHF World Championships continue on NBC Sports network, with the United States against France Saturday at 5 a.m.
NASCAR spends Mother's Day weekend at Darlington. The Sprint Cup racers go Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on Fox, after the Nationwide racers hit the track Friday on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. Then the racers take off Sunday to be with mom.
The Formula One circuit hits Spain, with the race Sunday at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports network. Qualifying is Saturday at 8 a.m.
The PGA has it's unofficial fifth major - The Players Championship - this weekend on NBC. Coverage starts at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Nationals face the Cubs on MASN this weekend, while the Orioles visit Minnesota for the weekend on MASN2.
While Fox takes the weekend off from baseball, TBS has the Red Sox and Blue Jays Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The Angels meet the White Sox on ESPN Sunday at 8 p.m.
In the college ranks, LSU plays Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m. on Friday on Comcast and Saturday at 1 p.m. on ESPN. For Comcast, it's off to the ACC Saturday at noon for Florida State-N.C. State and Sunday at 2 p.m Mississippi State meets Mississippi.
D.C. United takes on Dallas Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on Comcast, while NBC Sports network has Philadelphia against Chicago Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
ESPN2 offers the Mexican League contest between Cruz Azul and Monarcas Sunday at 6:55 p.m.
The NCAA men's lacrosse tournament airs on ESPN2 Saturday, with Lehigh-North Carolina at noon. Cornell plays Maryland Sunday at 1 p.m.
Comcast brings the ACC softball tournament, with the semifinals are Friday at 1 and 3:30 p.m. ESPN2 has the finals Saturday at 6 p.m.
ESPN shows an SEC championship Saturday at 8 p.m. The Big East title game will be Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPN2.
