When I did an internship with the Baltimore Skipjacks in 1983, they were the southern-most team in the American Hockey League.
The league has expanded quite a bit since then, now including a team from Austin, Texas in the league final.
Which means Texas girls like Sarah rooting on an ice hockey team.
