Here's your starting point

Poor Blue Virginia. Looking for Medicare lies from Romney and Ryan when the truth is right in front of them.
Point #1 - Any insurance plan relies on younger, healthier subscribers' inputs (premiums) to pay for the less healthy older subscribers. The younger usually need less care.
That's where Ryan and Romney start. There aren't enough young people now and in the future to pay for the care of older subscribers.
If we make some changes, we might provide something for all into the future.
Without changes, the money could run out at any time. The "trust funds" are the will to tax in the future.
For more and more people, it's obvious there's not enough money to continue on the path. The rich don't have that much money hidden away.
Keeping Medicare as it has been won't work much longer - no amount of crying and lying can change that.
