What's in store for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds this week?
Monday, Labor Day parade in Buena Vista. So far, so good.
Tuesday, President Obama speaks to the nation's schoolchildren. Opponents are fired up.
Wednesday, President Obama speaks about health care to a joint session of Congress. Some large group is going to be fired up and angry after the speech.
Friday, 9/11. Is it a day to remember those killed in the attacks eight years ago, or a day of service? More angry people.
Saturday, 9/12 march on Washington, D.C. How many people will be there? How much TV coverage will hit the Northern Virginia market? Do Obama's speeches early in the week inspire greater attendance at the march?
It's either a week of high partisan tension or bi-partisan talk being smothered by anger on the true believers on either side.
Good luck getting your message through, Mr. Deeds.
