The Obama administration is worried people are getting bad information about his health care plan. So I've collected a few myths and realities about health care reform. No need to report these to flag@whitehouse.gov
1. Myth - All nurses will look like members of the Swedish Bikini Team.
Reality - All nurses will look and sound like Helen Thomas, on a bad day.
2. Myth - A highly trained physician will perform prostrate exams.
Reality - Those doctors had to be reassigned. Fortunately, lawyers and tax collectors picked up the technique with very little training.
3. Myth - A trained therapist will help you deal with your problem.
Reality - What problem? Get back to work. Government needs more tax money to buy some votes.
4. Myth - You won't have to battle an insurance company to pay for your procedure.
Reality - What part of NO don't you understand? Get back to work.
As I find more, I'll send them on. Since Fishersville has Fish in in already, I figure it's part of my job.
