Organizing for America wants little old me to visit my congressman's office this week. Too bad I'm several hours away at the beach.
Interesting gamble.
If lots of people show up as OFA asks, then isn't it astroturf?
If not many show up, doesn't it show OFA doesn't have much power? If there's 47 million people without insurance who need this reform, does OFA have all of them on its mailing list to visit their congress members? Why or why not?
I think they were trying to break one million a few weeks ago. Impressive, but tiny compared to those they say need the help.
They're just adding more noise to the whole discussion. Must not be going well for them now.
